The Pawling Fire Department had a perfect summer day to host of the 2010 Dutchess County Annual Volunteer Fireman’s Association Convention Parade. The Pawling fire police, the Dutchess County Fire Police Response Team and the Patterson FD fire police were out in force to join local law enforcement agencies in handling traffic and the influx of visitors. An overflow crowd of no less than thirty fire departments, bands, participating organizations, and hundreds of enthusiastic onlookers, virtually shut down the Village of Pawling for several hours.
