Notice !! New ID Cards We have received our new system to produce our own ID's. We plan on starting the process of issuing new ID's beginning with the meeting at Somers FD on March 17th. ID's will look just like the old ones but without the reference to the Sheriff's department. The requirements are as follows and will be strictly adhered to: Anyone requesting an ID must be a member in good standing of the PNWFPA. If you need to apply, there is a link to our application here. You must be current on your dues for this fiscal year. We strongly suggest you wear a polo or uniform shirt with your department, PNWFPA or NYS Fire Police designation. If you don't have one, a plain collared shirt is acceptable. We will not take your picture or issue you an ID if you are wearing a T-shirt. No exceptions. ID's will only be processed and issued at our regular meetings. No other dates/times are planned or anticipated. In addition to taking your photo, we will need your name and rank. If you don't have a specific rank, we will use FPO (for Fire Police Officer). The new cards will have an expiration date of September 30, 2027. Thereafter they will expire every year on September 30th. There is no charge for the ID card. However, there will be a nominal fee to replace a lost card. Please be patient To start, our priority will be to enter everyone's info into the system and take your picture. If we don't have time to print ID's at the meeting we will do it later and hand them out at our May meeting in East Fishkill.
